Here our managing director, Samantha Overton, discusses why Zebra Print Group has decided to support Farsley Cricket Club for the new season…
At Zebra Print Group, community has always been incredibly important to us, so we’re really proud to officially support Farsley Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season.
As part of the partnership, we’re be sponsoring kits for all teams across the club, from the junior development squads right through to the senior sides. Seeing players of all ages take to the field in the new kits will be a real proud moment for everyone at Zebra.
For me personally, this partnership means a huge amount.
I’ve grown up around Farsley Cricket Club. My dad, David Storr, was chairman of the club for many years, and my grandad was also heavily involved as an umpire, so the club has always been a big part of our family’s life and history.
That’s why we also wanted to do something special in Dad’s memory by sponsoring a new ‘most sixes’ trophy for the upcoming season. The award will celebrate the player who hits the most sixes throughout the 2026/27 campaign and feels like a fitting way to honour Dad’s contribution to the club and the sport he loved so much.
Grassroots sport plays such an important role in bringing communities together. Clubs like Farsley Cricket Club give people of all ages the opportunity to build confidence, develop skills, make friendships and simply enjoy being part of a team environment.
We know how important that is, and we’re incredibly proud that Zebra Print Group can play a small part in helping the club continue to thrive for future generations.
Over the years, Zebra has continued to grow across Yorkshire, but supporting local communities has always remained at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s through charity partnerships, fundraising initiatives or local sponsorships like this one, we’re passionate about giving back wherever we can.
We’re really looking forward to the season ahead and can’t wait to see all the teams out on the pitch in their new kits.
